We would never be.... wouldn't we?

Glorious weekend? It's definitely not a glorious weekend for Malaysian, but for some of them, it was.

It was the end of the Commonwealth Game (CG) in Melbourne, Aussie, which Aussie as the host, as usual became the king of CG. I watched the closing ceremony which, if I was there, it would become an unforgettable moment for me. The fireworks were everywhere, not only in the stadium but also the whole melbourne city. That was something. The fireworks show was truly sophisticated, it may have been computerized, otherwise it couldn't be synchronized in such a way.

I was upset as none of the rhythmic gymnasts were able to gain a gold medal. Durratun, which I think is flexible and graceful enough, was always shadowed by Alexandra Michel Orlando of Canada. She has monopolized all the gold for the rhythmic gymnastic events. Durratun has done well enough but still Alex was far way better than her.

I would say, it was a glorious weekend for the badminton team. They're back in Malaysia with 4 golds. 2 were from the lawn bowl and another one was from the weightlifting contestant for 56 kg category, Mohd Faisal Baharom. KUdos to all of them. Next is in India.

Well, Malaysia could only claim itself as the best CG host. Melbourne wasn't only doing much better, they even ranked first in the festival. I wonder why Malaysia has always over rated itself. Come on! In this context also, we are no better than themlah!

Why was that? It's very rare that we became in any kind of sport. Nicol, the world 1st ranked squasy player were all by herself. Where's the backup? Is there any significant female squasy player like her in Malaysia? Badminton? China and Indon are far better than us. Sepaktakraw? I have no idea. We used to have major names like Mokhtar Dahari for Soccer, Adnan Saidin for Sepak Takraw, Rabuan Pit for atheletics, Sidek Brothers for Badminton, Nurul Huda Abdullah for Swimming and so many more!

One of the reason was that sports was over politicized. Rules like if you're not belong to an authorized sports association, you would never be allowed to participate in the competition should have not been there. This is killing us! Everyone should be given the same opportunity to take part in any sports even. Individuals, clubs and volunteery association should be allowed to organize their own event. Selection for team players should be opened to everyone. Not like the current way they are doing now, the selection invitation is limited; for those only was known to them.

Wrong! This is wrong! Any kind of selection must have been publicized widely. The media like the newspapers should work together to help our country to develop more and more athletes for the country. Recent effort, like what was done by Shabby for bulding up the MyTEAM for soccer must be complimented at most! See how many people were there to take part as they know, there's no such thing as open selection for them to be picked up to represent the country. Pathetic.

We would never be able to compete with the other countries, wouldn't we?

We all have heard that the government and the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) had voiced out their dissatisfaction towards the recent price decrease upon the introduction of the new National Automotive Policy (NAP). Najib said the price would have been decreasing a lot more, as it now is yet to satisfy the actual goal of the NAP itself. It is clear that the local carmakers were still keen on making profits rather than to have a bigger volume on sales.

Can you imagine, Perodua Kancil's price was just reduced by RM3xx as they said that it was still affordable. WTF? The govt. has reduced a lot of duties and tax, including the parts. Kancil's price should be at the price of maybe 4-5k only actually. But why they would never be able to do that? Because Kancil is Daihatsu's model. Remember? Perodua have to pay the royalty, tax, duties and so on. Now, even MyVI is a model of Toyota, which the model was Passo.

In the UK, Proton Wira's price was just 8-9k pound sterlings. Do not convert the money because the Brits were paid in pound sterlings too. Can you imagine how cheap are the cars in the UK? A small model of Fiat was just 5k++.

Malaysia was once like that. My father bought his Fiat 131 Supermirafiori at the price of $14k, back in the 1980. BMW was just $18k. Damn cheap if we can get that price nowadays.

We would never be like that, wouldn't we?

With the recent SPM result, a lot of good students with good results were produced. It has also resulted a much more limited placing for these good students to pursuit their studies, especially in the local universities. But we all know that it's the policy of the government to tabulate the marks so that the result can be more manipulative.

I would suggest that if we could, we would like to have a fix system where the grading is not fluctuating. We should maintain 90% and above for A1, 80%-89% for A2 and so on. The quality of the examination question should be raised. The questions were successfully predicted every year. They should have like 3 to 4 sets of question books for each paper so that the students won't be able to copy or predict during the examination.

The field specialization should be made as early as the students entered the intermediary school. Students should be allowed to determine their future within that period. Some might prefer to pursue in music, some would do mechanics, some maybe would love to do construction and maybe some would love to concentrate in sports and coaching.

That's the only way to prepare them not to be jobless in the future. The parents should open their mind that the success of living is not only achieved by doing engineering, medical or IT, but we all know that Siti Nurhaliza didn't have to go to any college to become a millionaire just by singing.

Anyway, those who would love to pursue in the science, mathematical, engineering, IT or business school should be given the opportunities to do so.

Badly, Malaysia is reported as lacking the number of doctors but this STUPID GOVT is limiting the entries to do MEDIC. I THINK I HAVE BRAIN BUT I STILL COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THE GOVT IS SO CONTRADICTORY?

We would never be able to satisfy ourselves, wouldn't we?

The most recent, the GOVT people has only now suggesting to encourage people to use the ENVO DIESEL by reducing the road tax.

Other countries have done that long time ago. They encouraged people to use environmental friendly diesel engine (which are mostly turbocharged) by reducing their road tax too. With the latest tech in Diesel Engines, even without that OIL PALM additive, diesel engine would be a much more environmental friendly, compared to the petrol engine.

Malaysia has never been ahead.

We would never be able to be ahead of any country, wouldn't we?

Tapi siapa sebenarnya Placebo?

Kemudian naik MRT. Ke Orchard Road pergi balik belum tentu habis 10 dollar singapura.

Pakcik pemandu tu pun baik. Terpaksalah baik sebab kami akan bayar dia 40 dollar singapura. Banyak tu.

Singapura sure bangkrap lepas tu!

Tapi singapura tetap bijak.

Inilah dia kumpulan Placebo.

Recent talks..!

I was not quite happy with the recent National Automative Policy, which the hiked price drop were not as much, as it was just for the sake of the price drop. Furthermore, Proton is no longer being protected this way. Even though it's good, Proton shouldn't have waited for so long to come up with new models and designs. In facing the year 2010, they really have to push their new models to be recognized before they may really able to compete in the global market. I'm fully supporting Proton for whatever it takes to penetrate the global market. Shut up TOP GEAR!

I believe that the Proton cars price may get dropped to a much better price as Proton is no longer paying any design royalties to any of it's alliance, which had caused the high-sky prices for models like Satria, Wira, Putra, Perdana and Waja. The birth of Gen2 and Savvy have marked their independence of other car makes in terms of designs, chasis and engines. It means, LOWER COST. Proton Gen2 1.6's price started at RM52,+++ while Waja started at RM58,+++. I predicted that the Proton Gen2's price would be lowered as low as RM50k for it's 1.6 models. Of course, much lower, much a lot better! One good thing about Proton is that it is fully owned by Malaysians.

It's a total different case for Perodua. As it is now has became the assembler, not only for Perodua models, they are assemblying for toyota local market models like Avanza. Even though the price of their cars are much cheaper, and they were said as producing better quality cars, I would see it as a threat to themselves, even though they might be able to save cost on the research and engineering works, they are being dependable. As we all know, Perodua is 51% owned by Daihatsu, which Daihatsu is mainly controlled by Toyota. That tells why the latest MyVI is equipped by Toyota's engine. Price wise? Full spec Perodua MyVI with 1.3 cc will cost us RM52k plus. You can already buy a Proton Gen2 1.6. They are being too dependable on Toyota's/Daihatsu's ability to supply them with the chassis, engine, designs and engineering. What does that mean to you?

There are 2 possibilities for Perodua. If Japanese Yen goes up, then Perodua cars would cost us more. Differently from Proton, they are producing their own engine, own chassis, own model, and everything is in Ringgit Malaysia. No matter how our RM goes up or down, we locally would be able to maintain the Proton Cars at the same price as ever.

Simply, it can be put into a table of comparison.

ProtonPerodua
Has its own Engineering, Research & technologyDepending on Japanese Engineering & Technologies
Owned by MalaysianMainly owned by the Japanese
Has started to generate new model without having to base on any other car makes designStill selling cars with designed owned by either Daihatsu or Toyotta
Has been producing its own engineJapanese engine
Make alliance for transfer of technologiesAlliance to get more foreign models to be marketed locally
Proton has it's own team for performance workPerodua cars has to be using the same performance technology by the Japanese. Means, expensive. More money going out because of the cost of importing the performance parts.

The recent launching of the new Low Cost Carrier Terminal of KLIA is also overwhelming. To some people, it's leading to the route of cheap and convenient flying. I see it as an EXPANSION of the KLIA itself. It was supposed to grow as the land allocated for the KLIA is so big! I'm hoping to see all other low cost airline from indonesia and singapore to make use of this low cost terminal and make it as the center of low cost airline in this region. Which is quite achievable, considering the location of Malaysia that is located in the middle of Singapore. Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Philippine, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Myanmar. Air Asia should take this chance to widen its wing over these countries.

I myself had a visit to Singapore Yesterday. I went there with Fara, a blogger who was so eager to go there for the MTV Fashionably Loud, in conjunction with the Singapore Fashion Festival 2006. I tell ya, Singapore is making steps a lot in front to lead us, not only in economy, but also in culture, which we Malaysians were always thinking that ther were so kiasu.

In fact, we are the kiasu one! (more pictures and report on the visit in my Malay Blog)

Biodiesel...? Jom Kelapa Sawit...!

As launched yesterday, Envo diesel has been launched by the Prime Minister. So guys. Plant the OIL PALM TREE now as they're not only be able to produce the cooking oil, now even the Diesel!

According to the Star, the Envo Diesel is a mixture of 5 percent palm oil and 95 percent diesel, but it was told that eventually bio-diesel will be made of 20 percent palm oil and 80 percent diesel. So tuners and car manufacturers, it's time to develop new technology on diesel. Proton should have developed diesel-engine powered cars!

Diesel engine by nature is very efficient, plus the nature of it's low price, compared to the petrol. We're so lucky as in the US, the Diesel price is higher than the regular petrol. The regular petrol in the USA is of the 91-92 RON rating, if i am not mistaken.

NGV? A full tank can goes up only to 180 km the farthest, per tank. It's not that suitable/recommended for some reasons:
  1. Limited gas station with NGV
  2. Reduction of power
  3. Limited tank capacity, which has already used up most of the car boot's area
  4. Cars with higher RON rating is not suitable.
You must be wondering why do I have to mention about the RON thingy.

RON stands for Research Octane Number, the number which we can always see at the gas station. Petronas would normally sell the higher grade of RON 97 only, while for Esso/Mobil, I could still see they were selling the regular grade of RON 92.

I'm going to be a lil bit techie here.

The straight run Gasoline, which rating is of RON 70, has the same knocking properties as a mixture of 70% isooctane and 30% heptane. Cracking, isomerization, and other processes can be used to increase the octane rating of gasoline to about RON 90. The Shell V-Power is told to be rated at RON 98 and in Japan, they even have the RON 100, which is meant for cars with high compression engines or those performance cars with high compression engine or highly turbocharged, it I'm not mistaken again. Correct me if I'm wrong. One of the way to increase the RON rating is to add the anti-knock agent.

Before the introduction of non-leaded petrol, Tetraethyl lead, was one of such anti-knock agent, which was added to gas at the rate of up to 2.4 grams per gallon of gasoline. The switch to unleaded gasoline has required the addition of more expensive compounds, such as aromatics and highly branched alkanes, to maintain high octane numbers.

Done with that.

Actually the hike of the petrol price in the US is just RM1.80 per litre is not true. The current diesel price in the USA is $2.618 a gallon, which is about RM2.1912 a litre. The regular petrol is $2.546 a gallon which is about RM2.131 a litre, without any subsidizing scheme, which is at the rating of 87-92 RON. Malaysia's price is RM1.88.

Well, remember, US people are paid in the US Dollar, which for them is about $0.56 a litre. Very cheap! For a normal graduate engineer, being paid US$3.5k a month, 400 litre of petrol a month would cause him only USD224 a month, which is just 6.4% of his total earnings a month.

Ours? 400 litres of petrol a month would cause an engineer RM768 a month, which is 21.9% of his earnings, if considered at RM3.5k a month of salary.

OK or NOT OK?

The govt. should have let the usage of hybrid cars. European countries has started with the commercialization of the hydrogen-powered cars. Japanese with the hybrid petrol-electric and diesel-electric engines. Proton itself should have started with the development of the hybrid cars.

We should wait and see the latest development of this biodiesel. There are 3 refineries that is going to be built for the biodiesel thingy. Well, the govt should not only concentrate on the oil palm biodiesel, they should also eye on the sugar cane's ability to produce methane and other plants to produce hidro-carbon bonds that can be used for fuels.

What about people's waste? When we talk about people's waste then we'll think about Indah Water. Indah Water should have changed their mode of operation.

Imagine the wonders they can do...!

Getting Back to Normal + Tips on Driving..!

After weeks of rageous and anger, I'm now sitting at the back of the kitchen.

MUNCHING. As usual.

But I consume only healthy food. Reasons?

The worrying of surviving in this so called challenging living has caused me a lot of stress, lowering my metabolism, which at the same time my brain keep working all the time, even in my sleep. I tend to consume more food than usual, my body was getting tired easily and i feel numb at certain places, at times.

Resulting me to have excess weight, excess fat near the waist and high pulse rate.

It was all contributed by a lot of problems lately, my work, business and even some people just creating and giving me problems. I just cannot take it. I need a way out of all this.

I should have checked on my blood pressure too. Hmm.. At the age of 29, I can't believe myself to be having to face these kind of problem.

I've just realized it last night. I must have forgotten to tell you guys that I've signed up with Clark Hatch Gym Club, just for RM950 per year, which means at about RM80 a month. Quite cheap isn't it? I'd be able to enter any Clark Hatch Gym anywhere in KL as well.

So it happens that I went there for the first time last night. My idling heart pulse rate was around 130++. When I do workout, it will boosted up, even up to 170 ppm (pulse per minute). I was like WTF? The trainer even said that I might have problem with my heart. He asked me to concentrate on cardio for the first few weeks.

As I can remember, few months back, I'm quite conscious with all these thingy. I keep taking my own reading for my own heart pulse rate, which at that time it was around 65-75 ppm. Tonite, i made my own reading, while lying down, my heart rate is 90 ppm.

So I would as well anounce that, today, March 18 2006, is my last day of smoking. This is for real. It lowers my energy level and reduce my stamina.

Despite of the joy that my bro had just passed his SPM with flying colours last Monday, which he managed to get 8As and 2Bs, I myself managed to lose 4 kgs for the last 2 weeks.

10 years ago, I was so obsessed with chatting and phone calls that caused me not to go out and just stay in my room, waiting for someone to call me up or to wait for someone to chat with me. Due to that, I was so thin, I reduced weight from 70+ to 54 kg. Sometimes I eat, sometimes I don't. I don't even go to the classes.

Err.. can I do that again? I bet not. My mom is a super good cook.

Been quite sometimes that I was away from the keyboard. In the last post, I notice a lot of typos and grammatical errors, but, I think that it would be much better if i just leave it as it is.

So, I've been bloghopping for the last 2 days. It's like a trend that everyone would update their blog in the start of the week, and maybe a short note on the last day of the working weekdays. And no more update after that.

My blog? I would usually update it on Thursdays, Fridays, or if I'm lucky, i'd be able to blog on Saturdays and Sundays. Unless I'm in JB, I can do it everyday.

I really hope that i can overcome this stress thingy. Owh god, I just cannot take it when people do not understand that I'm overly stressed, and they still pushing me on something. Gosh! So I had come out with this plan.
  1. Visit Gym everyday if I'm in JB.
  2. If I'm in KL, I'll be going swimming. I Just had a crash course on swimming last week and for the first time ever, I was able to bubble. I have no problem with swimming, it's just that I must learn the breathing technique.
  3. Stay away from cat, the furs always stuck in my throat, thus caused me losing my breathing rhythm, thus instable Heart pulse rate. I didn't hate cat, I just dislike them. I hate it when people insisting me to like cat, but thinking of what cats had done to me, I feel like annoying them each time I see 'em.
  4. Reduce my worry on money, by reducing my expenses.
  5. Get enough sleep
  6. Consume less dangerously food.
  7. Drink more water. Less content of water inside the body can cause stress

So here's the tips on "Driving Your Car With Optimized Fuel Efficiency"

What you can do while driving.
  • avoid traffic jams
  • if happen that you still have to drive even though the place is so near, switch off the aircond
  • but while driving on the highway, use the aircond. winding up your screen will add aerodynamicity of your car thus better fuel efficiency.
  • on the highway reduce braking. maintaining consistent speed is good
  • reduce sudden acceleration. accelerate slowly because your car will still be moving
  • try not to step so much on the accelerator. once your car had reached the desired speed, destep and step again, adjust it so that it would be able to maintain the speed
  • reduce gear switching while driving
  • For auto car, if the car's not moving, the gear should be put to 'N'. this has got something to do with the gear wear & tear, but with good automatic gear oil, the wear & tear can be reduced so much!
  • use proper gearing when driving. forcing the car to move at lower speed with higher gear will cause you to press the accelerator more, thus more fuel will be injected into the engine
  • try not to carry much weight with your car
  • you should check the RPM meter while driving. for most cars which power is kept at lower range or engine rev, keeping your car's rev below 3000 RPM is very good. for performance cars, keeping the speed between 100-120 kph (60-75 mph) with the 5th gear is the optimum engine operation. For most PROTON cars, on the 5th gear you should run contantly at around 90-110 kph. For perodua, it 80-100 kph. For BMW, Mercedesz and other luxuries, they are crazily consuming fuel, but a few gadgets would help, but they are running lean on the highways as well

What you can check or do with your car?
  • make sure the engine oil is suitable for your car type, and make sure that you car is serviced properly. bad engine oil will affect the efficiency of your engine
  • modern engines are designed to be running at it's optimum performance at lower temperatures. removing the thermostat (ask your mechanic for this) will help your car's temperature to go down, thus lowering the temperature of the engine
  • your tyre's air pressure is above the minimum requirement. lower pressure will cause more force to move the car
  • doing the porting & polishing of the engine's head will cause a slight power increase as better air flow is achieved. thus, better fuel efficiency especially on the highway (ask your mechanic)
  • aerodynamic bodykits will also help the car with the fuel efficiency
  • redoing the air flow system properly (from air filter, extractor, mid muffler, piping and end muffler) will also increase slight power as it will affect the throttle opening
* I will add more points

Goin Back to the 50s...!

I don't really feel like continuing the previous posts, as it was too serious and I was actually driven by my anger.

I should have written about the impacts of the cancellation of the Mega Projects. Compare these.

Money for projects (reserved or loan) -> invested into projects -> Jobs for local people -> people spend for their expenses and debts -> business is kept running and the banks are able to collect their loans + interest -> taxes for the govt. is paid -> infrastructures is being used and people will still pay thus income for the govt -> govt will maintain the income through the maintenance of the infrastructure.

All above is considered that the projects are properly done, given to the right people for doing them. Compare the above with this ->

Money for projects (reserved or loan) -> not being invested into project -> kept in the bank for interest -> no money is flowing between the folks or money is static/stagnant -> people gain no benefit -> no infrastructure thus no paying is made back to the govt. -> people has no gain.

But that was quite a lame old story, as now the govt. has announced RM4++ Billions is going to be invested into upgrading the public transportation services. That means:
  1. More monopoly as most of the licenses will be terminated as i think they're going to integrate a lot of services.
  2. Cheaper transportation cost
  3. More efficient services
  4. Less cars on the road.
I'm waiting for how this project is going to be implemented. How effective and how long they are going to take their own sweet time.

For me, to come up with a plan, it should have come up with the proposal. They should have started it right away. What are they waiting for? They knew that they are going to increase the petrol price long ago. Why only now they announce the upgrading of the public transportation? What kind of politic is this?

If i were they, i would announce the project first and ask the people to get ready about the petrol price increase. That is more acceptable and I do think, Malaysians are not that stupid to do riot for nothing. When announcing something, they should have came up with the reason and plans. We're so thankful that they still subsidize certain transportation costs, thus the petrol price's increase wouldn't affect our groceries price, which is applicable for the time being.

Maybe it's time for us to change. Once the public transport is covering almost areas and being efficient, it's a sure thing that :-
  1. Transportation cost should be cheaper
  2. no more traffic jam as driving is costly thus less cars on the road
  3. We can manage our time in a much efficient manner
  4. Cleaner air.
But I was talking about KL and maybe major cities/towns.

What about those in kampung? We still need transportations, but maybe they would just change to bicycles or motorbikes.

It's like, we are goin back to the 50s :p

But it's okay! Traffic jam would actually cause serious stress to people. Less cars means less pollution.

We can have a healthier folks. As we use public transport, it's a sure thing that we have to walk a lot everyday. Sweat a bit people. Get healthier then.

Well, there are still a few issues to be taken care of. Criminals like robbers and snatchers, as this is important as a lot of people would be walking back home. How are we going to overcome this?

Not really in the 50s isn't it?

So maybe we still can own a car but only some purposes like
  1. Goin clubbing, karaoke or any activities after 9 o'clock at night. So maybe the govt would have to restrict the number of cars during the day and let people use their car at night.
  2. We can persuade people to use the motorbike as well, but they should have their own lane to avoid them scattering all over the road. There's a saying "Bawak motor macam bawak lori!" (ride a motorbike like driving a lorry!!!)
  3. We can do a system like in the singapore where to pass through certain roads they would need to pay toll automagically, like the smart tag thingy. Or maybe they should have a permit to drive in certain road during the daytime.
  4. Cars is permitted for girls, for safety reason but it must be restricted to certain local model with certain engine capacity (which is small), to ensure that the car is environment friendly.
  5. Every major public transport stations should be guarded with the police to ensure people's safety.
  6. Every bus stop should be guarded with CCTV so that people can stay in the seen area for their own safety, and they should be built within the area of a lot of people, but now snatchers are just everywhere
  7. The public transport must cover every route efficiently.
So maybe the petrol price increase is meant to persuade people to use the public transport, that I would say.

I myself, had done a few tremendous changes to get along with the recent fuel price increase:-
  1. I travel by bus from JB to Seremban, and drive my car only in KL from Seremban. Saves petrol and toll.
  2. I made calculations after every time i refill my petrol tank. My current usage my for my B16A is in between 11-14 km per liter even for town driving, which is quite high, but still best in it's own class (told by romdzi).
  3. I'm going to buy a second car, and it should be smaller, a MyVI or a satria.
  4. I shaved my head. I've problems with my scalp. I have to use expensive shampoos. Cut my expenses on that. I'm going to keep this baldness HAHA!
  5. Cut my handphone usage.
  6. When i go to KL, i just take RM500 with me.
  7. Cut on my food expenses.
  8. Maybe to cut on my entertainment expenses but it's hard for me to turn down invitation to go KARAOKE. Hehe. Maybe have to go to KARAOKE-kotak more often. Cheap. Just RM1 per song.
To think about it, this is quite viable, but i'm still disagree that the government has to increase the fuel price. Petronas money is still going to the government. The government can still use the money no matter what. At least, to increase the price, ensure the public transport is ok first then only u increase the petrol price.

Eh guys, have u heard the rumours saying that there are a bigger reserve of OIL has been found in Kelantan's seashore?

Maybe it's there, but the reason why they never want to start dig it out is just of one reason:-

KELANTAN IS GOVERNED BY PAS.

Hehehe.. back to the 50s people..!

(Next, tips on how to drive your car to maintain fuel efficiency)

Cancellation of Mega projects.

The cancelling of the Mega Projects might have occurred due to a few things:-
  1. Conflict of interest between Pak Lah and Dr. M
  2. Conflict of interest between the people or Pak Lah and the people of Dr. M
  3. Pak Lah has got something else to do with the money
  4. Pak Lah has some other ways to make money
  5. Pak Lah maybe do not want to make money or do not know how
  6. Malaysia maybe do not have enuff money (but still can do a lot of other things eh? Raise, Bonus? Why is that?)
For the first and the second reason, which the conflict of interest, I would see it as something like this. For instance, all the mega projects has been awarded to the people of Dr. M, but Pak Lah's people didn't get any so he decided to cancel 'em, due to none of his people and he himself were benefitingn from the projects. To reaward is not possible, so the easiest way is to cancel them, and use the reason to 'save money' to cancel them.

Or maybe, Dr. M has done all the ground work before, so people recognized those projects as Dr. M's projects, not his. In order to get himself out of Dr. M's shadows, he cancelled all the projects! (and if you noticed, that was among the first thing he did afterall).

Instead of continuing the continuous development proces of the country, Pak Lah chose to do things his way. Dr. M was popular as someone who likes to spend the country's money to develop the country and add more debts to the country as well. All the things Pak Lah has done was totally contradictory towards what Dr. M has done.

The reason of 3-6 were just my naughty guesses (because i know who would care of naughty opinions as well), it seems to be true also, since the country's wealth is not getting anywhere. The economy is good but still the govt. cannot stand the high expenses and what not. I just don't understand. If the economy is good, is growing, there must be some increment in the income, but still, it cannot cope with the increment of the expenses.

An interframe, just like PLUS (the highway operator), are they making money? They manage to give 3 months bonus every year to their employees, but still, they were increasing the toll every 3 years, to cope up with the expenses and to pay the debt to the banks. Why folk's money? Last year they reported an increase in profit, and where did this money goes? Why don't they use the money to absorb most of their operation cost, and pay their debts a lot earlier than schedule?

Just like any other Malay Monkey Business. Duit belum nampak tapi sudah beli BMW. (Business haven't started but they've already bought a BMW). If they pay the debts much earlier, the concession will be shorter. Now the concession is not only longer, but i cannot imagine how much is the toll price from KL to JB at the end of the concession.

They only think of making money, without considering the impact of inflation.

Back to business, yeah, the government is not making money at all, as if they really make money, they can absorb a lot of other expenses. The govt. officers were not asked to sacrifice their expenses as well. The govt. ministers should have been asked to cut down their expenses, and ask them to even use the public transport.

I was really f*cked up when every time i drive in KL, there would be some ministers passing by really fast even through the traffic jam, being escorted by the Traffic Officers. Not only they get to pass really fast, they even save their petrol as they don't have to go through the jam.

That's why they never care about the traffic jam because, they would never have to go through them. And still, they ask us to use the public transport? What the f*ck? I agree that they are going to upgrade the public transport services, but why only now? Why not years before? That really shows that the thinker groups of the current govt is very weak. The mega Projects that has been cancelled includes the project of the fast train passage direct from JB to KL.

If i say Corny? Hehe. Why? Cancelling the previous mega projects of transportation, but now due to the recent price increase, Pak Lah has reraised the project with the new agenda without the folks realizing that it's just a revamped version of previous project, with new agenda, same objectives, same thing but new beneficiaries.. hahaha.. fishy.. :p

It's like been planned. In order of chronologies :-

  1. There are existing projects. Maybe he doesn't like the beneficiaries, he cancelled, but he told people, we have no money. Instead, if we don't have money, why don't we work on it? Why is he keep going overseas? Now is the modern world. We can always use chat, phone call or even Net Meeting to discuss. You say no money but you keep going here and there.
  2. So he did not do anything to overcome the petrol price increase. He just let the price goes up. All the other tax also goes up. At the same time do not want to protect Proton. What is he trying to do?
  3. Now the petrol is extremely high, so he started up the transportation projects again. By the way, he intended to use our own money, not to borrow, or get investors. So, I do not see any feedback from his visits from overseas. What was he doing there? Holidays? Hello. It's people money, you go here and there konon for halal hubs? Where is halal hub?

And now, even singapore has move farther from us to become the islamic banking center for this region by changing their policy to allow foreign middle east banks to operate in here. Malaysia LEMBAP!!! Singapore is not even an islamic country. Malaysia? Konon islamic country.

Sad.. isn't it. Well, this is not an accusation in any kind of form. It's just that a theory, of what is might happening in actual.

DO NOT FORGET, that Pak Lah was once one of the UMNO betrayers, together with KULI and Tan Sri Musa Hitam. Even an ex-convict would be accused for things he did not even did, Pak Lah betrayed not even Dr. M, but the govt. and even UMNO or Barisan Nasional(BN) in general. He caused Dr. M to lose his BN's chairman position for a few minutes. That few minutes was the most critical time ever, since anything can happen in that few minutes. Luckily, the MCA president was kind enough not to misuse his power and return the position back nicely to Dr. M.

These are all facts! You should read the history of how do we have the UMNO and UMNO(B) which means 'Baru'(new). And read how KULI tried to challenge Dr.M for the post of UMNO president in 1987, and luckily Dr.M won but as they were so upset, KULI and his team managed to get the original UMNO which was registered in 1946 to be deregistered, but these sick people start Semangat 46, as if they are the original UMNO. Even though Pak Lah was not involve, but he was in KULI's political camp, even though he was the Defense Minister. That was about less than 20 years ago. Even at that time, Pak Lah was envy of and disloyal to Dr.M, and it's possible that he's still envy at Dr.M.

Pak Lah was lucky, after 2 years of doing nothing, Dr.M readopted him to the government, after he was dropped off the cabinet as the defense minister. When Pak Lah was a defense minister, remember we have a lot problem with the just bought air fighters? What was happenind at that time?

Consider an ex-convict. If an ex-convict were known as a thief, then a robbery happen somewhere around where he was, the police will surely accuse him of doing it. Pak Lah was dropped off the cabinet and opposed the UMNO's president as well.

So DO NOT FORGET. Pak Lah has HIS OWN HISTORY OF DISLOYAL AND BETRAYAL too.

My opinion are based on all these facts.

I guess, Dr. M is making a lot of mistakes by hiring disloyal and betrayal people since the beginning. Starting from Musang Hitam (as the Sultan of Johor called him), Saudara Anwar Ibrahim (as he previously know as) and now Pak Lah.

So sad isn't it?

Malaysian Economy (con't)

Haha.. I've just received a pantun regarding the recent price increase of the petrol in my Malay blog. Please check out http://izham-melayu.blogspot.com. It's in Malay language. I just 'copy-and-paste'ed it in my malay blog.

Why I don't really like the government to announce that the current economy is good?

In certain aspect, it looks good as from the view of the people/investors outside Malaysia, out economy is stable enough, for them to put their money in here.

I hope so.

In fact? I'm not so sure about it. People still keep going to China to invest their money. Why? Their economy is good but still the production cost in China is the cheapest.

No wonder why the govt. had to push the folks to concentrate on agriculture. That's the only way to continously become the resource producing country. I wonder, is it possible for us to do so as the cost is so high;. Yes, the government is subsidizing a lot of things but still, it's either the responsible officers or the people itself is corrupted.

When the govt supplied the subsidized fertilizer, it's either:-

1. The officer keep some portion for themselves and sell it off.
2. The subsidized folk also sell it off.

So actually, no one is actually being serious of doing agriculture. But then, for me, if the Pak Lah is so serious about being a farmer, why don't he himself start one! It would be a good example for other.

Maybe, it's just a dream.

Another reason why I don't like the economy is being reported as good is because, the perception of people itself.

First, if I'm the foreign investor, i will think that the folks here are having a good level of living, so the cost of living is also high. The labour cost is also very high. So why should I invest there? Their economy is good enough. I should have taken advantage of the place where economy is bad, people badly need job. Needy people won't care if they are being paid cheap. But that's just me. I myself would think like million times if I want to do something with my money.

Second, the local people itself. They would less worry. They would still buy things even though there is a high pointers of inflation. That's too bad. The economy shouldn't be reported as really good, as there are still a quite high number of inflation. Our local people is not united enough to boycott things. The consumer and labour society is at a very pathetic level, as is there's no difference whether they are exist or not. For most people, they don't care about the economy, as long as they can get their pay at every end of the month. When I was working, I don't really care too about the economy.

Third, the banks will take the advantage to increase the interest rates. That's already happening now. And worse, people would still buy the car. Why eh?

I wonder why they still announce the economy is still in the good 'growth' level as:-

1. Inflation rate is at around 7-8%. Developed countries with a very strong base of economy would have the inflation rate of from 0-2%.
2. A lot of mega projects has been cancelled.
3. We're still putting high taxes on cars. Imagine in Australia, A 3 series BMW can be bought if u add another AUD$5000 to the price of Waja. Remember, every one in Aussie is being paud in Aussie dollar. Do not compare RM converted to AUD$.
4. RM value is very low. Most of the materials are still being imported. How could our product compete with the lower price of the product from the developed countries itself? For example cars from Japan/Korea are a lot cheaper than Proton, if we consider them without the TAX.
5. There's no such significance events/projects like during Tun Dr. M, the so called 'kuku besi' time, but the economy is still as good as we're still having all those? I wonder..

There's a lot more reasons but it was just disappeared as I went here and there.

Well, they should have just reported the economy as not good. Why?

1. The people will worry and work harder.
2. Even though there would be people who would went to overseas to work, they send in mney from there. Would it be good to steal other country's wealth and bring it back home? Don't u think that right now, a lot of Malaysian Wealth has been transferred to a lot of other poorer countries? So bad isn't it?
3. Poorer countries would never want to send their people to work here. Our economy is bad too, why bother to work here?
4. Thieves, robber, snatchers will think twice. If they rob, will people have money for them?
5. The bank will not take advantage upon people. The economy is bad, would people be able to pay higher? No. So they'll even lower the interest rate, which is kewl.

Well, this is just my stupid opinion. All are these business/economical theory are made by people. What's wrong if we don't bother about them and try our own approach in handling the economy.

Tun Dr. Mahathir may have smiled when he heard about all this. He must have known all these earlier so he passed it to someone else to handle before things become worse hahaha.

Well, i would still love you Dr M. for what ever things you have done.

Kerajaan yang buat kira bicara
Kami ikut apa depa kata

Kunun dok habag petronas hak rakyat semua
Pakailah minyak petronas, nanti untung dapat kat kita
Nie, nak tanya la....tiap tahun untung beribu juta
Rakyat dapat apa ????? kudis buta....

Hari nie petrol naik, tahan la lagi
Tengok pulak apa cerita esok pagi
Habis ikan, ayam, cabai sampai ke cili

Nanti ada la menteri tolong bercakap
Sapa naik harga dia nak pi tangkap
Sampai bila la dia nie nak ubah sikap

Dah sampai masa kot Pak Lah kena guna akai

Jangan dok ingat rakyat macam Pak Lah
Gaji berpuluh ribu hidup tak susah
Ada anak pulak bisnes sebelah sebelah
Dapat tender pun tak payah susah susah

Kami rakyat bukan macam tu
Malah la nie pun dah ada rebus siput babi dgan batu
Sedih sungguh ohhhh negara ku
Biar tak merdeka terus pun tak la kalau lagu tu

Kot ada sapa nak Barang Naik lagi undi la depa lagi...

Jumpa Kawan Lama

Very old friend. Bukan la old yang tua, tapi kawan yang dah lama sangat berkawan. Sejak dari tingkatan 1. Masa tu umur baru 13. Sekarang ni dah 29 tahun. Kiranya dah 16 tahun la kami kenal. 16 tahun tu, kalau ada budak lahir masa tu sekarang sure dah tingkatan 4.

Mahyuzie bin Jenal. Dengar nama pun mesti korang dah agak dah, mamat ni mesti Jowo. Ada ke Zainal tukar jadi Jenal. Mahyuzie tu mana datangnya pula, tak tahu la.

Sorry eh korang hehehe..

Tapi sekarang Mat Sin dah lain dah.

Mat Sin pakai ketayap warna coklat ek. Raihan la konon. Tapi badan dia macam dah kecik sikit. Dulu rasanya dia macam tinggi sebab ketinggian saya dah tak bertambah sebenarnya selepas tingkatan 4. (Antara sebab saya ni agak pendek, hanya 173 cm)

Saya sungguh gembira lalu memeluknya. Badan pun dah tak sepejal dulu. Saya masih ingat kali terakhir saya memeluk beliau ialah semasa kami nak meninggalkan sekolah selepas peperiksaan SPM. Masa tu terasa macam peluk lembu.

Mungkin lepas ni rasa macam nak pegi Batu Pahat selalu. Best pulak bila dah tau ada geng. Takla dekat sangat tapi macam best jugakla kan...

As I said, the issue would be a never ending story. The latest effort of the government to overcome the problem is to ask the folks to lessen their spending. That is so terrible. For those who can still remember the steps taken by Tun Dr. Nahathir bin Mohamad in 1997-1998 recession, this time, it's a total backward and contrary steps is being taken.

What the government was trying to do was to make the people to regard this economical problem as nothing. For some people, especially the government servants and those who had been employed, the economical problem is something that has got nothing to do with their business. They can still spend their money, because their income would never be reduced at all.

What about those who were doing business which would involve transportations? Of course they cannot raise the price as easy as that due to the raise of the petrol price. Some more, the government is now persuading the people to reduce their spending in order to cope up with the petrol price.

As someone who has been watching the economical scenario since 1997's recession, there are a few contradicting actions were done or let be done by the government:
  1. The increasing interest rate for car loans. (Waja from 2.55% to now 4.1%)
  2. Reporting the economy situation/condition as good, as it shouldn't be done like that
  3. Cancelling most of the mega projects.
  4. Letting so much of political conflict of interest to be happening amongs the politicians.
  5. Too much of a policy change, which involve the change of the responsible people, instead of continuing the current policy. (This is due to the changing of the prime minister as well)
  6. I would see the change of the prime minister a few years back is not suitable as we have a lot of economical issues to be taken cared of.
  7. The recent petrol price increase.
Ok, coming is why I say these changes are not good for the country.

Do you know that Proton/Perodua cars is being taxed at 50%?

For the first problem, I cannot see why they would increase the interest rate. As we all can see, that our country is a car manufacturing country. Yes, I would agree that they put high taxes and duties to the imported cars but why do the same thing to the local cars? The government is already taxing Proton and Perodua on their profit but why should they taxed and dutied the buyer on the sales? The government is also taxing the bank profit that is made out of the loan interest that we pay.

Furthermore, the interest rate of the loans of the imported cars are much lower than local cars. Proton cars 4% and above while BMW/Mercedesz/Volvo 2% and above. Honda is making it's own initiative to loan out money for people to buy their car at the interest rate of 1-2% but thei car is still considered as expensive.

Maybe there are some economical reason to it, as actually the lower amount of loans would contribute to lower profit so that's why they increase the interest rate so it would become even. But I don't see it that way.

With lower interest rate, people can afford to pay their loans, at the same time producing a lot of performing loans that will contribute to the performance of the bank. As easy as that.

Furthermore, those rich people applied for loan just for the purpose of avoiding the tax if they buy the car by cash. Normally after 6 months, they'll settle the balance of the loan. Don't u think that by providing loan with lower interest rate to them is actually helping them? And why should u squeeze the poor who is already poor to pay the ridiculous amount of money? Pity them.

To persuade people to buy local cars, not only tax should be reduced or eliminated, the interest rate should be as well lower as possible.

From buying a car, these are the items that the govt. is profiting from:-
  1. Sales tax (50%) (for example GTI price is RM77k, Actual price is 51.3k, so the tax is RM25.6k
  2. Proton profit of the sale, out of 51.3k, the profit was 5k, so the profit of 25% is RM1.25k.
  3. Road Tax of (estimated) RM187.
  4. Insurance Tax 15% estimated at 15% x RM2048 = 307.20.
  5. Consider 9 years of loan with the interest rate of 4.1%, with the 90% loan of the value RM69.3k, the profit from the interest rate of 4.1% per year is 36.9% out of RM69.3k, which a total of RM25.5717k. (Buyer pays a total of RM94.8717k to the bank actually!) Govt. gain (estimated at 18% of RM25.5717k) which is RM4602.91, divide by 9 years is RM511.44
Govt gain a total of RM27668.64 for each Satria GTi you buy! Not to mention if u buy a Mercedesz or BMW!

So every year, estimated more than 140,000 new cars being sold. Not to mention the 2nd hand cars! Consider each car govt would gain at least 20k, multiply by 140,000 is RM2,800,000,000 that is RM2.8 billion a year at least! What if people bought cars worth more than RM100k? What about RM 1mil cars?

We haven't considered the 2nd hand cars transactions as well!

See the govt. gained a lot in every single thing we do. Increasing the interest rate of the local car will actually kill the local industry. Actually, in reality, the govt has lost a lot from the people who failed to pay their car loans, migh as well as the banks which cannot get any profit from the money they loaned out. They intend to gain more, but in the end, they lose more!

In other aspect, it makes the rich richer, and the poor poorer. In order for our country's economy to move on, we should support the local car industry!

Suggestion ::
  1. Lower the interest rate for cheaper cars/lower cars.
  2. Reduce/eliminate tax for local cars.
  3. Give more incentive to local car owners.

Things That You Probably Don't Know About Moi

When i was bloghopping around, i've passed thru an entry, "choses que vous ne connaissez pas probablement au sujet de moi", which was written in french. It means, Things That You Probably Don't know about Me. How do i read that? Babelfish Translate!!!!!

Well, i was excited when i was checking out the visitor's list of my blog just now when i see visitor from google.....

What? GOOGLE?????????

What the heck were they doing in here. Hahaha.. Fishy.. it looks very fishy.. Why eh?

Can u see it?
Well in here, i've got visitor from Motorola Singapore and err.. MyKris Asia? It's quite amazing that a private limited company can have it's own block of ip address with it's own DNS, and also connecting to the internet using the DNS name. Maybe they were using only one gateway to get out to the internet.

Well, let's get into business. Things about me that you probably don't know are:
  1. My Birthday is on the 23rd January 1997 (Yes, i'm already 29 this year).
  2. I've a natural tattoo on my right hand. It looks like a cooked burger.
  3. Nick Names: Atuk, Kid, Slash, Tenno, Bai and Along.

  6. I'm slightly overweight. My ideal weight is just 63kg but now i'm weighed at 74kg.
  7. I think i'm quite a fast driver. With my stolen-GTI, I used to clock 0-100km/h within less than 6 seconds. The advertised time was 7.8 seconds.
  8. I used to fall asleep while driving at the speed of 180-200 km/h on the highway. That explains why nowadays i'd prefer to travel by bus rather than driving my car.
  9. I hate malaysian roads! It caused me a lot to repair my car!
  10. I'm very good at cooking Prawn Masak Lemak Cili Api.
  11. I'm quite good at preparing BBQ and salads.

  16. I love watching TV especially Pasion de Gavilanes with my Mother.
  17. The lowest fuel consumption i've ever recorded was with my Proton Wira 1.5 Gli. I drove full tank from JB and reached KL, not even a quarter tank. I refilled and it only consumed like 11 liters.
  18. I learn how to drive with my father's volkswagon! I used to go around Malaysia with both the Beetle and Combi, along with my friends.

  20. I can sing, play guitar, bass, drums, a lil bit of piano and keyboard. I love going to Karaoke, very much!
  21. I was embarassed a few times while performing on stage. The first time was when we were out of beat while playing Whiskey in the Jar. The second time was when the bass was not properly tuned up and i forgotten the lyrics.
  22. The first time on stage during the management night was awesomely something to remember. I sang 'Sister' by the Nixons and Omen sang Sekaiga Owa Ruma Dewa (Tragedy Night) next. We were practising like mad. Didn't go to the class for 2 weeks for training.
  23. In 1997, i had 2 terrible accidents. Early of the year and end of the year.
  24. I'm invulnerable of any emotional attack! You can do anything to me as I won't really care. Hahaha. I used to be a super jealousy person but it's useless. 27. I may cry watching a sad/touching scene on TV or cinema. Last time i did was when i watched Buli Balik by Afdlin Shauki. The last part reminds me of the fellowship between me and my friends. It was really touching. I didn't realize that my tears were dropping fast!
  28. I love babies. I love small kids too. I really love it when these small kids loves me.
  29. In my GTi, i was once chased by a patrol car. I lose them when I actually went off the highway at the Port Dickson exit. I was worried if they were still looking for me.
  30. I'm sleepy right now. It's been too late.

Nite!

* Anyway, check for Chris of the American Idol 5. I love him very much. He ROCKS! American Idol reviews and summary next!

** Eh eh, have u heard that, with the petrol's price increment, the government wants us to change our lifestyle! They want us to reduce spending. If this happens, how could we move the economy. More on this in the next episode of 1,001 Nights of Petrol Stories!

*** Maybe Eejay's hubby was right. Make more babies and feed them with stone. In my case, I can only cause the blockage with my semen lah!

What does the Wah-Wah pedal gotta do with the flood in Shah Alam?

Yesterday, I went out with my brother and his friends (the new futsal buddies in JB) as i promised to one of his friends to help him on getting a good guitar for himself. This time, he's really keen to learn about playing guitar and asked me to become his sifu.

Okay, i've chosen an RM230 guitar for him. It was quite nice, i myself liked the guitar design, and how does it sounds. It was an acoustic guitar, looks expensive with the latest sleek design of the acoustic/electrical deisgn, accept that it comes without the pickup.

Anyway, the one with the pickup wasn't that expensive. The Musical instruments prices had gone down a lot! A Gibson Les Paul Epiphone can be bought at the price of RM1700. That's YUMMY! Hahaha..

I was thinking that might as well i buy something for myself. I've been looking for a baby cry or a wah-wah pedal or i think almost 10 years. I was playing guitar actively since 1992, that was when i was in form 3. At that time, i've totally zero ideas on playing an electrical guitar. I've only got a chance to play the electrical guitar when i was in form 4, when me and a bunch of guitar mates at school went out for jamming. Hell! I was really sucks on the electrical guitar. There's a lot of things to be changed.

After the SPM, i started to go jamming with my brother, actually after once i found out how to play the drums. I played a lof of Metallica and Guns. The only thing was, songs like Sweet Child 'o' Mine and Enter Sandman's guitar solo were using the wah-wah pedal. Since then, i keep telling myself i want to buy myself one!

So yesterday, i did! It was pretty cheap, just RM220, not including the expensive boss adapter that cost me RM60, 1st to 3rd string of Ernie Ball's strings that cost me RM7.50 and a 10 feet auido cable that cost me RM15.

When i get back home, i tried it. Hmm. It doesn't really sound like how i want it but i already know how to make use of it. Sweet child 'o' Mine and Enter Sandman! Both of you are just a piece of cake! Hehehe..

It sounds like a pro. Professional ok, not Progoal! Hehehe..

Resting after trying the new Wah-Wah pedal, i went out for a while to watch th prime news at TV3. Again, they were highlighting the sudden flood in the Shah Alam area.

I think y'all can still remember that last year, there was a case on the opening of the forest around the Taman Pertanian Cahaya or previously known as Taman Bukit Cerakah? It has banished the whole forest around it, as they are developing more and more houses in that area. Just to cause more and more traffic jams.

Not to mention the logging activities in the Ulu Langat area, no matter legal or illegal. The government has never admitted their fault even though it's clear that all the logging activities, either legal or illegal, is still under their responbibilities.

Who's not doing their work now? Bukit Cerakah is in the middle of Shah Alam, does that too far for the people to take care of the damage done? The government didn't want to be blamed for what had happened, and as usual, the Forestry Department was the scapegoat, even though the authority to approve the logging areas to be logged is within the power of Dewan Undangan Negeri. It has got nothing to do with the Forestry Department. Even though they said, the Forest Department has done the homework and prepared everything, including the damage study, would they care if the Forest Department say no?

They will simply override and proceed.

And now, the flood. I used to stay there for quite sometimes, yeah I admit, that area is always been flooding everytime the rain was heavy but, it has never been flooding in such a way that it caused a lot of damages to the folks. Silly. They made a reason of the rain was outrageously a lot more than usual. Is it?

Opps, they did it again!

They denied that the government has to be responsible for all that. They offered a discount of half year Door-Tax to all that area's resident to help them to overcome the damage cost. They even said, the budget of around RM10mil has been approved to upgrade the river and to raise the bane wall to avoid the flood, just a few days before the flood happens.

Sounds fishy. Well, i'm going to see how true is this. The flood episode would never end unless they really do something about it. In my mind, the only thing that caused the flood was the logging activities that is beyond control that happened all around Selangor.

But I am really disappointed that the government said they shouldn't be blamed for what had happened. Then, what was the cause of the flood?

Is it because of the people throw rubbish into drains and rivers? I think that has been done years before but why the big flood comes only at this time?

Or is it because there's a lot of unmarried young mothers throwing their infants away to the drains and rivers as well? They must have been really productive this year then!

Or, is the Selangor people masturbated so much, that their semen has clogged all the drains and rivers? That's a new record! The testosterone level of Selangorian Male must have increased by at least 500%!

Or maybe for some stupid reason, they've thrown away all the wah-wah pedal stocks that were unable to be sold. Hahaha..
